ZAMFARA APC RECONCILIATION WILL HELP IN ADDRESSING SECURITY CHALLENGES —DAURAN
Abubakar Dauran, the Special Adviser on Security to Zamfara Gov Bello Matawalle says the state’s All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders’ recent reconciliation efforts would address the state’s security challenges.
Dauran who is the Chairman, of the state Taskforce for ensuring compliance with measures to curtail insecurity stated this in Gusau at a press conference.

The governor’s security aide stressed that such measures if implemented to the letter would play a significant role in combating the menace of insecurity that Zamfara State was currently confronted with.
“It is no longer news that Gov Matawalle has reconciled with the factions within our great party in the state under the former Gov Abdul’aziz Yari and Sen Kabiru Marafa.

“This will resolve prolonged political instability that has been affecting the progress of the state in all sectors of development.
“It is worthy to note that the importance of reconciliation cannot be over emphasized, as no nation, state or community can develop without unity, peace and stability”, Dauran said.
“I commend our leaders, Gov Bello Matawalle, former Gov Abdul’aziz Yari and Sen Kabiru Marafa, as well as other stakeholders for joining hands together to build the party.
“This is a welcome development and will assist in ensuring the safety of lives and properties in the state,”, he added.
Dauran also lauded APC National Chairman, Sen Abdullahi Adamu and President Muhammad Buhari and other stakeholders, who played vital role to ensure the successful reconciliation of the party’s leaders.
He called on all and sundry in the state irrespective of political affiliations to join hands together and support the present administration in the state in combating banditry and other forms of crime in the state.
