ZAMFARA: APC REPS CANDIDATE SYMPATHIZES WITH CONSTITUENTS OVER SECURITY CHALLENGES
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in Zamfara, Abdulmalik Zubairu Zannan-Bungudu has sympathized with communities in Bungudu and Maru local government areas in the state over recent attacks in the area.
Zannan-Bungudu in a sympathy message to the families of kidnaped and attacks victims Ruwan Dorowa and Bingi North communities issued in Gusau on Thursday described the escalation insecurity in the state as worrisome.

He expressed concern over persistent insecurity in some parts of the two LGAs.

The APC candidate represented the constituency in the house of reps between 2015 and 2019.
The former lawmaker also raised concern to the recent increase of kidnapping and attacks in Ruwan Doruwa town and some parts of Bingi north in the two LGAs.
He noted that the prevalence of kidnapping and armed banditry remained great challenges for the survival of people of my constituency.
“The federal government has been taken measures to address security challenges in the area, despite that security agents are not enough to mitigate the menace.
“There is need for government at all levels and security agencies to adopt other strategies”, Zannah-Bungudu explained.
He lamented that the activities of informants and their ugly activities of aiding armed banditry and kidnapping activities as well as the way they supply weapons, drugs and food stuffs to bandits.
He prayed for Allah’s protection to all kidnaped victims against their abductors.
