Governor Fintiri @ FCT Min: Restates Commitment To Reposition Adamawa

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has restated his administration’s commitment to reposition Adamawa State.


Governor Fintiri gave the assurance during a chat with the Minister of the Federal Capital Teritory Abuja.
He expressed his administration’s determination to reposition the State into a tourist and economic hub of the country.
Rt.Hon Ahmadu Fintiri stressed that the goal of his administration’s 11 point agenda is to create an enabling environment that would encourage investors to invest in the State.

The Minister of the Federal Capital Teritory, Mallam Mohammed Musa Bello commended Governor Fintiri for harnessing the potentials of the State for a good cause.


He was happy with the successes so far recorded in education development which earned the Governor an award recently as well as in Health, Works and Housing, pointing out especially the urban transformation drive that is restoring the beauty of the State capital, promising his support.


Speaking to Journalists after the visit, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri noted that he was at the Ministry to encourage a brother and Adamawa stakeholder who is making the State proud.


He blamed the underdevelopment of the State to negligence from past Government’s, but was quick to mention that his administration is changing the ugly narrative.


Governor Fintiri disclosed that the administration has introduced a number of poverty alleviation schemes through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship aimed at reducing redundancy and curbing the activities of notorious groups in the State.


Asked why the rapport with the Minister who is in the opposition, Governor Fintiri stated that it is time to provide good governance to the people and not party politics. “Besides there’s no opposition in Adamawa. We are a people who are ready to carry everybody along in the Adamawa project notwithstanding our differences.
