Governor Fintiri Visits Vice President Osinbajo

Adamawa State Governor Rt. Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has met with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
Governor Fintiri was at the Villa to discuss issues of interest to Adamawa with the Vice President.

He commended the Federal Government for prompt assistance to the State whenever the need arises, noting particularly the fight against insurgency and support in the provision of amenities.

He however urged the Government to do more in stemming the tide of insurgency and other security challenges facing the nation.
Governor Fintiri assured the Vice President of the commitment of his administration to change narratives of bad governance and underdevelopment.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo happy with the visit praised Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for his support to the armed forces and other federal Government agencies towards achieving there mandate.
He commended especially the urban renewal drive of the Governor and his resolve to ensure the growth and development of the State.
He was emphatic on the role played by Governor Fintiri in ending the farmer Herders conflict in Adamawa State that was a serious security challenge to the Government.

Professor Osinbajo had cause to visit the State at the height of the crises and therefore appreciated the Governor for the new thinking that has allowed for development in the areas.
