I will not temper with appointments of civil servants in Kebbi – Gov. Idris.

Gov. Nasir Idris of Kebbi, says his administration will not temper with appointments of any civil servant appointed by the outgoing Governor, Atiku Bagudu in the state.

Idris stated this when he received a delegation of Jama’atul Izalatil Bid’ah Waiqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) co- led by Sheikh Abbas Jega and Sheik Abubakar Gero-Argungu in Birnin Kebbi on Wednesday.

He said, “I have forgiven all that had not supported us, and will not remove or temper with the appointments and positions of any civil servant in the state.”

Idris assured the delegation of his commitment to keeping secret of government as entrusted in him by the people of the state.

“We have to congratulate ourselves as a whole, and we should all work together for the progress and development of the state,” he said.

Idris urged them sustain the tempo of giving useful advice and suggestions that would move the state forward.

The governor reiterated his commitment of running an inclusive government and appealed for support from all and sundry to enable him to bring the desired development to state.

Earlier, Sheikh Gero-Argungu, urged the governor to be meticulous in divulging government ‘s secrets, saying that the secrets of government were trust that needed to be kept secret from friends and loved ones.

He assured Idris of total commitment to supporting his government for the betterment of people and progress of the state.

On his part, Sheikh Jega, enjoined the governor to be just to all in respective of religious, political and ethnic inclinations.

“Also be patient in the discharge of your leadership mandate, and to forgive those who have wronged you and not supported your political quest and sojourn to victory,” he said.
