ZAMFARA ASSEMBLY CONDOLES GOV MATAWALLE OVER DEATH OF MAI-KWATARKWASHI
The Zamfara House of assembly has on Friday condoled Gov Bello Matawalle, Kwararkwashi emirate and Bungudu local government area of the state over the death of the Emir of Kwararkwashi Alhaji Ahmad Umar.
This is contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Friday by the Public Relations Officer to the House, Malam Nasiru Biyabiki.

The Emir of Kwararkwashi who was popularly known as Ahmad Mai-Kwatarkwashi was the long serving monarch in the state.
The late Emir died at the age of 96 after 61 years on the throne.
“The Speaker, Alhaji Nasiru Magarya on behalf of the entire members of the state house of assembly, prayed to Almighty Allah forgive deceased shortcomings, accept his good deeds and grant him Aljannatul Firdausi.

“The state will continue to remember his leadership ideals of justice and fairness as he left a legacy worthy of emulation”, Biyabiki explained.
He prayed to Allah to give his family and all his subjects the fortitude to take hearts and bear the loss.
