ZAMFARA SPEAKER, URGES APC FACTIONS IN THE STATE TO ACCEPT JUDGEMENT


The Speaker, Zamfara House of Assembly, Alhaji Nasiru Magarya has commended federal high Court Gusau for dismissing suit against Buni’s Caretaker APC led Committee filed by the APC-faction under the former governor Abdul’aziz Yari.


Magarya urged warring factions of the party in the state to accept the judgement with good faith for the APC to continue as one big family in the state.

The Speaker in a statement issued by the Director General Press Affairs and Public Relations to the state house of assembly, Mustafa Jafaru Kaura urged politicians in the state to eschew politics of bitterness.


He congratulated the National leadership of the party under Gov Mai-Mala Buni of Yobe state for imaging victorious at suit.


The Speaker also extends the congratulatory message to state APC leadership under Gov. Bello Matawalle, state party executives led by Tukur Danfulani as well as the entire APC members in the state for the victory.

“Having thrashed out the case, the nation’s judicial system still gives hope to the innocent, the rightful and the hopeless”, Magarya said.


Yari’s-led faction had earlier filed a suit challenged Gov Mai-Mala Buni-led committee for dissolution of their state executives.


The presiding judge, Justice Aminu Bappah Aliyu, while ruling the judgement at the federal High Court sitting last Friday dismissed the suit adding that the federal high court lacked jurisdiction to entertain a matter on the internal affairs of a political party.
