WE HAVE NO HAND IN ATTACK ON SENATOR MARAFA SOCIAL MEDIA GROUP CHAIRMAN, -SAYS ZAMFARA APC
The Zamfara State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that the party has no hand of the recent attack to one Shamsu Kasida, the Chairman of Sen Kabiru Marafa social media group.
This was contained in a statement issued in Gusau on Wednesday by the state APC Public Secretary, Malam Yusuf Idris.
Idris said the APC leadership in the state under Alhaji Tukur Danfulani is highly surprised over claim by two APC factions in the state under the former Gov Abdul’aziz Yari and Sen Kabiru Marafa.
“The most worrisome is when these claimants begin to assert frivolities against the party leadership and APC led government in the state especially over the contradictory alleged attack on one Shamsu Kasida.
“It should be clearly noted that one of the cardinal duties of the state government is the protection of people’s lives and properties.
“The present administration in the state under Gov Bello Matawalle has been doing its best to ensure that the whole state is not only free from the fangs of bandits and other terrorists making life unbearable to our communities at the rural level, but ensuring that even small time criminals such as shop and house breakers do not have a place in the state”, Idris said.

He said the APC led state government’s effort had recently led to the arrest of an anthropophagous in the state capital, Gusau.
“Therefore, for anyone alleging that the APC under the leadership of Gov Bello Matawalle had a hand in the attack, is uncultured and irresponsible.
“The good news on this matter was that, during a press conference by Sen Marafa’s Spokesperson, Bello Bakyasuwa recently said they knew the attackers of Shamsu Kasida.
“We want them to either lead the police in arresting them or to take the matter to court.
“Therefore, we will not allow such irresponsible and clumsy way these people drag the governor’s nor the party’s name in their mischievous ways”, Idris added.
