Yobe SEMA, SCI Partner On Livelihood Project
Yobe State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) met with Save the Children International (SCI) to discuss a proposed livelihood support project worth over ₦1 billion. The project aims to benefit 7,000 households across Gujba, Gulani, Geidam, Damaturu, and Tarmuwa Local Government Areas.

SEMA expressed gratitude to SCI for their ongoing Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) targeting 1,953 flood and conflict victims. Beneficiaries receive monthly stipends of ₦70,000/₦50,000 and one-off payments. Others received WASH and Non-Food Items kits to rebuild their lives.
SEMA’s Executive Secretary, Dr. Mohammed Goje praised SCI’s support.
