Gov Bagudu attends Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference 2022 in Sokoto

The Kebbi State Governor and Chairman of APC Progressives Governors’ Forum, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu,CON was among important personalities who attended the Chief of Army Staff Annual Conference 2022 .

President Muhammadu Buhari declared the conference open with the theme ‘ Building a Professional Nigerian Army for the Twenty First Century environment ‘ held at the International Conference Center, Sokoto this Monday.

The Minister of Defense, Rtd Major General Bashir Salihu Magashi Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, Service chiefs, Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi and Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko were at the event.

Among the Kebbi State delegation who accompanied the Governor were the Secretary to the State Government, SSG Babale Umar Yauri, some Commissioners and Alhaji Sahabi Lolo, APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Kebbi North .

President Muhammadu Buhari led by the host Governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Sultan of Sokoto , His Eminence  Alhaji Muhammad Saad Abubakar, CFR in his palace before proceeding to the venue of the event.

At the ceremony, the Nigerian Army through the Chief of Policy and Plans, Major General AB Omozoje specifically recognized and commended Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his unwaivering support to the Nigerian Army in the task of keeping Kebbi State peaceful and secured.
